We are developing an AI technology that enables a wide range of robots to learn from the way people control them. The technology is patent-pending and we are excited to bring it to life.

How Does It Work?

Imagine a system where humans can control the robot using tele-operation, virtual reality (VR), or similar user interfaces. Our AI can mimic the way people control the robot. Our AI can process sensory information including camera images, make decisions, and output movement commands to the robot so that the robot can autonomously perform a task.


Our AI can control a wide variety of robots including industrial robotic arms, delivery robots, lawn mowers, drones and more. Basically, every robot with at least a camera can work. Auxiliary sensors would help a lot to reduce the number of example demonstrations needed.


- The robot can become semi-autonomous with a couple of task demonstrations (sample efficiency). Full autonomy usually needs more task demonstrations by the robot operator.

- The robot knows when it is not certain enough and can ask a human operator for help.

- There is no need to hire an engineer to re-program the robot for every new task.

We are Ximpatico, a venture-backed and NSF SBIR award winning startup based in the US with offices in San Jose, CA and Orlando, FL. Founders are Ph.D. graduates in computer science and engineering behind the state-of-the-art in AI and robotics. We developed a cutting-edge AI technology back in 2016 in our research lab.
